The Wedding Of Mr&Mrs Britten

by

The Wedding Of Mr&Mrs Britten was one of those weddings that you just don’t want to leave. The entire family were so welcoming and made me feel more like a guest than someone who was working all day. It was stunning from start to finish and I felt honoured to be a part of the occasion.
When I arrived at the Mother of the brides home, getting ready was in full force. The bridesmaids were having hair and make up done so I quickly got all my kit out and began clicking away, the bride appeared from the bedroom and my gosh she looked stunning. Her hair was perfect, she didn’t look nervous….yet and her make up was flawless. As everyone got ready, more and more people began to wait outside for a glimpse of the bride.
The cars soon arrived and we made our way to the church, everyone looked amazing. The bride arrived and the ceremony began, it was one of the most beautiful ceremonies I’ve covered. the Church was stunning, the stain glass windows were just gorgeous. All the guests were eager to see the bride and the groom stood at the front awaiting that first look. As the Bride walked in, the gasps and oooh’s and arrrr’s were clear to hear. Everyone looked so proud and happy.

After the ceremony we went on to the reception venue, Sudbury house hotel in Farringdon and braved the cold for some outdoors photo’s, it started raining so we ran inside for the rest of the shots. The venue had beautiful gardens and I really wish we had more time outside as the potential is endless, there are so many places to explore and in the right weather it could be just amazing. We made the most of what little sun shine we had and got the shots we needed. The brother of the bride did a fab job gathering everyone for photo’s, especially one particular shot which all the men seemed to be excited for. They had all worn odd socks! I’m not entirely sure the bride was impressed but the image still looked pretty awesome and I do love a fun shot.

Anyway, before I blab on and on about how beautiful everything was, here’s the images you’ve been waiting for.

Mr & Mrs Turner Wedding

The Wedding of Mr & Mrs Turner

I love weddings, I love the atmosphere, the nerves, the emotions and the absolute love you see as the couple exchange their vows. The way the day all of a sudden changes once the ceremony is over always amazes me. All the nerves are gone and everyone takes a breath and gets on with enjoying themselves. It is such a lovely thing to be able to capture and be a part of.

The wedding of Mr & Mrs Turner was held in Macclesfield at Heaton House Farm.  http://www.heatonhousefarm.co.uk/weddings/
It was such a beautiful location and the grounds were absolutely stunning, I would love to sit up there one day and just photograph the landscape, miles and miles of sheer beauty. The rolling hills were such a perfect backdrop and the amazing tree was perfect for framing my shots.

Although it was a very cold and very windy day they sun came out and the wedding began, Chloe looked beautiful as she walked down the aisle on her fathers arm and Chris was bursting with joy, I’m pretty sure I saw a tear in there somewhere. I do love it when you see men get seriously emotional when they finally see their bride, happiness just bursting out of them.

The ceremony was lovely and the couple looked amazing. After the ceremony we braved the outside for a while to get the couple shots before joining the others on the hill for the group shots.
As I always do, I will tell you the story through my images and stop waffling on.

Mr&Mrs Wain

by

I absolutely love photographing Weddings, there are so many moments that really remind you that the feeling of love is just amazing.
In September I had the honour of photographing the wedding of Mr&Mrs Wain. It was a small intimate wedding and was absolutely amazing from start to finish. The groom only turned up in a Ferrari and the bride in a blooming stunning Mercedes.

The new Mrs Wain looked stunning as she walked into the room and her husband couldn’t hold back the huge smile on his face when he saw his bride, the look of pure love and nerve all mixed up.  That is the look I always have to capture, the first look of “wow, that’s my bride.” During the ceremony I like to have a little moment were I just look around, not through my lens, and just look at the family and friends. Their faces and their reaction to what is happening right in front of them just makes you realise how right the couple are for each other.

After the ceremony we went to a beautiful little place in Burford called the Windmill Carvery. The views from the balcony were simply stunning and it was a please to photograph the Bride and groom standing on top of the hill.

I would just like to say a huge congratulations to the new Mr&Mrs Wain and I wish you a lifetime of happiness.

Finley’s Deployment mini shoot

by

Being an RAF family, I totally understand what it is like when a loved one goes away. I have also seen the other side, when I served in the Royal Air Force I spent 6 months away so I know how it feels to miss family back home. There are always young children around me who are missing parents who are away serving the country and I wanted to do something to help them out. something fun that would take their minds of Daddy or Mummy just for a little while. I came up with Deployment mini photoshoots. Any way my first taker was this gorgeous little lad, Finley,  who had the biggest smile I’ve seen for a while. We had loads of fun on both of his photoshoots and I have been told that his dad, who is away at the moment, think’s the pictures are great! Here are my favourites. Enjoy xx (more…)

Royal International Air Tattoo

by

As you all know, I adore my family. I have a wonderful husband and two beautiful daughters who light up my life. My life before my family was the military, I served in the Royal Air Force as a Police Dog handler. I loved my job and would have spent my life serving my country…..but then I met Aaron and fell head over heals in love!  Aaron has given me a wonderful life and two gorgeous little girls. So now I live as a military wife, it’s not so bad and it does have it’s perks. For example, the Royal International Air Tattoo. I love everything Military, especially the planes. My eldest daughter is the same, she adores planes. You will notice this in one particular image below. So R.I.A.T is a huge deal to us as a family, we Love it! Anyway, R.I.A.T was last weekend and I took my camera along.   Here are some images from the day. This is my family…….and the red arrows!
