Baby Rory

Baby Rory

I would like to introduce you all to this very handsome little chap, who goes by the ever so cute name….Rory! I mean how cute! He came into my brand new studio with his family for his first ever photoshoot, although it really didn’t seem like his first. He was such a pro! After a feed and mummy snuggles he was handed over to me and we got on with it. He was such a little angel and it was such a please to work with him. He was very easy to pose and I loved that he kept smiling at me, now I know theres a debate about wether babies can actually smile or wether its just wind but I honestly think that this little fella just liked me! Well, he didn’t like me that much because every time I picked the camera back up the smile went…Cheeky or what!

This was the first studio shoot I had done since arriving and it seemed a little strange working in a totally different area. I love it though because it is much bigger than my old studio! I love my job so much and I was honoured that Rory’s mummy emailed me just days after my first ever advertisement and then chose me to photograph her baby boy. He pretty much slept throughout and even though we tried at the end they was no way we were going to get a shot of him with his eyes open. He was completely settled and there was no way I was waking him up. you know what they say, never wake a sleeping baby! It was such a shame too as I caught a glimpse of his gorgeous little eyes when he came in and wow, just stunning!

Anyway, as usual I could talk for hours…..but I won’t! :)

Here are my favourite images from the shoot.
Enjoy x

Baby Jacob

I recently had the gorgeous baby Jacob in for his newborn session and what a joy it was to work with such a little cutie. I did a maternity session two weeks before baby Jacob joined us in the world, five weeks early. Baby Jocob’s mummy had exactly the same illness I had with both my babies, it’s not a nice thing to go through and nearly all babies with mothers who suffer from it arrive early. Thankfully the gorgeous baby Jacob arrived safe and well and was allowed home after a couple of days.  This is the first time I have worked with a baby so tiny and I must admit I did have to rethink a few things, all newborn sessions have their challenges as all babies are different. This is why I love my newborn sessions so much, it helps me to grow as a photographer.

Here is a reminder of Rebecca’s maternity session and my favourite images from baby Jacob’s session.

Newborn Baby Elliott

Before baby Elliott was born I did a maternity “bump” photoshoot for the very beautiful Joanne. Joanne was only days away from her due date. A few days later I received an email to say baby Elliott had joined the world and was doing very well.

Joanne’s maternity sneak peek can be found at

I do love hearing from my pregnant mums once they have given birth. I believe that every newborn baby is a teeny tiny miracle.
Baby Elliott came in for his newborn session at only 6 days old, here are my favourites from the session.

Rebecca’s Maternity Photo Shoot

The gorgeous Rebecca came into the studio for some maternity pictures before she went off to give birth to her second little boy. I love my maternity photo shoots. The excitement of the last few weeks before baby arrives. Plus I always get to meet the baby for their newborn photoshoot just a few weeks later. It’s such an honour being part of such an important part of someones life. I love so many of the pictures from this shoot so it has taken a long while BUT here are my favourites.
